There’s no better way to dive into Spain’s extraordinary culinary identity than with a cooking class and a tour of a local food market.

Accompanied by your guide, explore the Mercado de Triana, one of Sevilla’s oldest markets, and immerse yourself in our city by discovering stalls filled with tropical fruits from the Andalusian coast, delicious cheeses from across Spain, unparalleled Iberian products, olives from the province, and a wide variety of local delights that will open the door to Andalusian cuisine.

Next, let a professional chef reveal the intricacies of working in a Spanish kitchen during a hands-on cooking class. During this collaborative cooking class in the heart of Triana, you will work together with your group and our chefs to prepare traditional Spanish recipes step by step. Everyone takes part in creating the menu together, making this a fun and social experience where food becomes a way to connect.

This experience is suitable for all levels — from beginners who want to discover Spanish cooking to food lovers looking for an authentic gastronomic experience in Seville.

During the class, you will prepare a selection of traditional Spanish dishes:

  • Salmorejo — a classic Andalusian cold tomato soup (occasionally replaced by Gazpacho)
  • Spinach with Chickpeas — a traditional Sevillian recipe (occasionally replaced by Huevos a la Flamenca, Cod Fritters, or Garlic Prawns)
  • Paella Valenciana — prepared with chicken and seasonal vegetables
    (For vegetarian guests, we prepare a separate vegetable paella)
  • A light traditional dessert, such as lemon sorbet with cava

All our recipes can be adapted to dietary restrictions. Please inform us in advance so we can prepare the best possible experience for you.

During the cooking session, you will also enjoy homemade sangria. Afterwards, sit down together and enjoy the dishes you have created, accompanied by up to two drinks per person (wine, beer, soft drinks, etc.).

At the end of the class, you will get the recipes and our chefs’ tips so you can recreate these Spanish dishes back home.

How Do The Classes And Tours Work?

Once your reservation has been confirmed, you may modify or cancel it up to 48 hours before the start of the class. After that time, the full amount paid will be forfeited.

Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions when making your reservation.

Classes may be cancelled if the minimum number of participants is not reached. If this happens, we will notify you at least 48 hours in advance.

All our classes at Taller Andaluz de Cocina (TAC) are practical, hands-on, and suitable for participants of all skill levels. They are designed for both adults and children and are taught by professional chefs.

Each class is highly interactive, with all participants working together to prepare every recipe under the guidance of our chefs, ensuring an enjoyable experience and excellent results.

At the end of each class, everyone enjoys the dishes prepared during the workshop, accompanied by a selection of drinks.
