Amazing experience (I have done it twice!)
Amazing experience- this is the second time I have done this experience (yes I went back) Leo is wonderful, witty and funny and Guya (I hope I spelt her name correctly) is so friendly and informative. You are taken around Triana market where they give you information about the products you are going to be using and where they come from. You are then taken back to the cooking class where you prepare and cook 3 different recepies. You each get a turn cooking throughout and then you enjoy the delicious food you made with a sit down meal. There is also a small shop located in the cooking class so you can purchase books, pans and even aprons to take home as a souvenier. I would recommend doing this on your trip to Seville!

Lively and informative tour of the market with Lydia then a short walk to the cooking school in Triana where our group of 12 of different nationalities quickly became two friendly teams and took instruction from David, the chef. Spotless kitchen and attention to hygiene impeccable. Plenty of sangria during the cooking process and, although we've been making Spanish food at home in the UK for many years, we learned a lot about how to prepare the food and add magical depths of flavour.

Der Kochkurs mit David und Ana war fantastisch. Die beiden haben uns in der Markthalle von Tirada in die Welt von Sangria, Paella und Tapas eingeführt und allerlei Wissenswertes dazu erzählt. Spannend waren auch die Hintergrundinfos zu den Zutaten und kleine Tipps und Tricks, was man beachten möchte, wenn man eine "echte" Paella kochen möchte. Echt coole Sache! Ich war alleine da - also ohne Begleitung - und es hat total viel Spass gemacht. Man kommt beim Kochen schnell ins Gespräch mit den anderen Teilnehmenden aus ganz Europa. Ich würde so einen Kurs jederzeit wieder machen und gebe eine absolute Empfehlung dafür ab.

Spanish Cooking Class and Dinner in Seville - Excellent
Did the Spanish Cooking Class and Dinner in Seville. 4 of us took the class along with 5 others. The 4 of us had our own cooking station. We prepared 3 dishes and 2 drinks. We made Salmorejo, Spinach with chickpeas, and Paella Valenciana. One person in our group has a food allergy to chickpeas. That was communicated to them when I booked the class. When we arrived they were aware of that and mentioned it. When preparing the spinach with chickpeas, they removed a portion of the dish before the chickpeas were added - that was set aside for the person with the allergy. We also prepared Lemon sorbet with cava and had Sandria to drink. We had 2 chefs helping instruct and show us how to do each step. They were excellent - expertly guided us through the process for each dish. Additionally they were very personable. There was a fun atmosphere with lots of laughing during the class. The class was not rushed. There was plenty of time to accomplish each step and if needed additional explanation was provided. The class was conducted in English and they were easy to understand. The food was great. The drinks were great. Highly recommend this class.

We had a fantastic time at the Spanish Cooking Class & Triana Market Tour in Seville. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they clearly knew the market inside out, the tour itself was fascinating and really added to the experience. The kitchen was lovely and spotless, and everything was very well-organised, which made the whole class feel relaxed and enjoyable. The food we made was absolutely delicious, so tasty and generous that you definitely won’t need lunch or dinner for hours afterwards! I’d highly recommend it for the great atmosphere, the people you meet, and the overall fun of the experience.

We totally enjoyed our paella making experience. Great teacher and delicious food. We also did the market tasting tour on another day. Sabrina and Lizzie were the best guides and they were happy to spend time with us showing us the market and answering all of our questions. We also were given very generous samples of various specialties of the market. Highly recommend!!!!

This is a fantastic activity. You start with a tour of the market with a very entertaining host. The chef that leads the cooking class is amazing, you really do learn some skills and have fun while cooking the best paella ever. Highly recommend to do this as a couple, solo, or family with older children.
